The Medelast® silk tape is a flexible silk-like fabric with hypoallergenic adhesive for anchoring tubing and devices, and secure dressings on the skin without damaging the surface. However, Silk Cloth Adhesive Tape differs from regular cloth fabric by providing increased strength and durability, especially on dry skin. Microporous adhesion has the additional benefit of making the skin around the wound area more breathable and easier for re-application.
